Traveling

So, this is our world. And may I tell you something... You're free to do absolutely anything you want to do in our world. Sure, there's a few limitations but we can explore a lot without much issues. Yet, traveling could get costly so it's a luxury to many...

I love the idea of discovering new things, but I dislike the part how easy it is to travel through the internet. You can really see just about everything a country has to offer without ever going there. Where's the surprise at? You can even navigate through a museum virtually!

Back in the days you would travel using a map and a destination. Now, you see 99% of what's going on at your destination. Then, you enter the destination in a GPS and you drive your car like a zombie following it every step of the way. You've got no real idea where you are passing by, you won't lose the road and discover something you didn't expect. You won't ask the way and meet interesting people...

And then there's this all-in disease. You book a cheap ticket online with a cheap flight and you fly to a huge complex. All you do for 2 weeks is sit there, all you can eat and a swimming pool and some other activities to keep you entertained. Why would you do that? Not to mention, most of these hotels got prison walls sort of protection you from all the poor people surrounding it...

The Dark Knight

Why so serious?

So, this post is a tribute to one of the best movies I have ever seen and ever will see. I'll post quite a bunch of movies I enjoyed watching being a movie fan and all... But damn, what a great movie this is!
I feel like its the Scarface of my generation, the movie you have to watch two or three times every year again.

The acting done is beyond anything I've seen before in these types of movies. Sure, there's more talent out there and all but the way Heath Ledger pulled of the Joker has to be one of the best works of art ever created by men.

The game about it, well I say it's about it but it's not 100% linked to it of-course. But it's about Batman and the bad guy is the Joker. But it plays in Arkham Asylum instead of Gotham City.
But, if you didn't try either yet you should definitely pick both the movie up and the game if you enjoy a good game.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Batman series either, but after watching this movie and playing the game I was really hyped. And then this one happened...

Tom Hardy came in and he wanted to beat up the bat, and he did. Sure, the hero always wins in the superhero movies but I really felt in the Batman movies the bad guys always had a good shot. I don't want to go on and do a movie review etc that's not what my blog is about, I just share stuff I enjoy that people should totally check out sometime.

Everyone is depressed?

So... This is a hard one. I'm not posting this too make fun of people who are actually depressed, but I'm just watching life and this world from a distance sometimes and I can't help to notice basically everyone who's having a hard time or loses someone important gets the tag "Depression".

Why? I mean, no way the people in the time of hunting in the woods or slavery had such tags. You either felt good or sometimes you felt down, right? Maybe I'm just too stupid to understand what depression actually means. But why are you sad?

You see these poor kids smiling? They probably never get the chances you did. I sometimes think it's all about being happy with what you got and not being unhappy with all the fancy stuff you can't have. Sure, I would love to have a sports car and a huge fancy house with a butler but it doesn't make me unhappy knowing I'll likely never have this.

So if you could all start being happy with the fact you got what you got and you get what you can, and if you're having a hard time just get through it. Here's a quote: "When going through hell, keep going".

Traffic issues everywhere!

Traffic jam! Nothing beats a daily traffic jam, right? Just sitting there wasting your life doing absolutely nothing at all. So how can we solve this problem? You can't. We live in a society where's it all about saving time so we end up wasting time. And you're all to bloody stubborn to notice!

If we would spend a little bit more time organizing our travels we could carpool more efficient , we could use public transport, work from home, start and stop better hours and all that.

Recently I saw a picture somewhere and it said something like "People are stuck in traffic with their cars, to spend less time on a static bike then they sit there". So basically, we go workout and all that so we need the car to save time. Yet we got no time spare... So why not bike to work? At the end of the day it's pretty much all the same right? Guess not, people don't enjoy giving up their luxury of having control of the now and then a car offers.

Do you enjoy traffic jams?

Crisis, money, what?

Let's talk about this whole crisis everyone's on about. You see this pool? Pretty beautiful, right? Most people reading this post can't afford it. Okay, no issue right. Who need's a pool anyways, it's not like it would make you happy, or would it...

These children would do anything to drink the water in that pool. That's some deep stuff right there. But sure, this issue is far from us and we occasionally pretend we care by donating a few coins... But isn't it disgusting we spend a little bit of money to fill a pool with tons of water you could just drink? We have no idea how rich we are! It's disgusting really. But if you're an average guy like me then...

As long as I'm getting passed by cars worth more then my house, I refuse to believe there's something called a crisis! The money didn't magically vanish of the earth, no. It kept streaming the wrong way and it always will... And now that the bigger guys notice the little ones stopped feeding them they called it a crisis.
Money isn't the issue, it's how we've spread it in the wrong way.

Food issue's world wide

I"ll be honest guys, this does look delicious to me as-well. But that's exactly what I want to talk about. Our bodies evolved from hunting in the woods, running and working for days without food. Occasionally you would kill a rabbit and live from it for 2 days. So you would eat what, 1500kcals every 2-3 days?

Nowadays, you could easily stack up 3000-4000kcals a day not to mention you burn much less. But who's to blame? The Goverment? Naw. We've got lazy and enjoy the quick easy foods.

We don't care cause it's full with salts and fats, it tastes good, it's cheap and you enjoy eating it!

So, this looks more like what we have to eat. Vegetables and a whole bunch of it! Throw in a few eggs and chicken for protein and you're golden. So unless you wanna end up living with huge overweight, start counting those goddamn kcals. Sure, we should enjoy the occasional junkfood meal but it's not just those making us fat!

Killzone : Shadow Fall

So, this is my second game I'm getting with my PS4 as launch game. Together with Watch Dogs I'll be playing Killzone for it's online mode.

It's probally a not so common choice since most people would prefer to play Battlefield or Call of Duty but I've played those games way too much!

Taken from the original website:

Killzone Shadow Fall takes place 30 years after the events of Killzone 3. Set in an era of interplanetary colonization, it focuses on the conflict between the Vektans and the Helghast, two rival colonist factions inhabiting a distant planet. For three decades, both factions have lived side by side, separated by an enormous security wall – but now their cold war is about to go hot.

It’s up to Lucas Kellan, a member of the military intelligence unit known as the Shadow Marshals, to try to protect the fragile peace that exists. A new warrior for a new era of war, Kellan 's missions will range from quiet infiltrations to all-out combat. Lucas will need to be methodical and ready to adapt, as any misstep could lead to mutually assured destruction!

So yeah, Killzone is a futuristic First Person Shooter and hopefully it isn't the wrong game to get compared to the two other mainstream ones. But then again like most online games it's mostly fun if there's other cool people around, so the odds of finding a 14 year old raging geek are smaller on Killzone, right?!
